Hotel Dylan: A boutique hotel in Woodstock, New York
Hotel Dylan is the ideal setting for those seeking to unwind and explore the unparalleled majestic offerings of the Hudson Valley. Located on Route 28, the gateway to Catskill Park, Hotel Dylan gives guests instant access to one of the most notable small towns in North America—Woodstock, New York, which thrives with artists, musicians, travelers, fishermen, hikers, and skiers.
Beautifully nestled at the base of Overlook Mountain, Woodstock is an active artists’ colony and the ultimate year-round family destination. Hotel Dylan also proves a great base point to explore other neighboring towns, including Saugerties and Phoenicia where exceptional dining, inspiring arts, calming spas, nature trails, and swimming holes beckon travelers, all less than two hours from New York City.
Newly renovated rooms at Hotel Dylan offer true bohemian sophistication. The talented husband-and-wife team, The Novogratz, paid meticulous attention to every detail, presenting an ambiance that parallels the easy, laid-back character of Woodstock and the locals who call it home. Each room is named after one of the rock n’ roll greats associated with the Woodstock Nation, and iconic artwork by Elliott Landy and Michael De Feo grace the walls.
Guests can grab a board game or a vinyl record at the front desk to take back to their room or feel free to cool off in our beautiful new gunite pool (available in season) that’s equipped with underwater speakers and surrounded by ample lounging chairs. Guest rooms overlook a central lawn with two fire pits, designed for spontaneous leisure. Our guests have full access to the well-equipped 28 West Gym, which is conveniently located right across the street. During season be sure to ask us about our discount lift tickets to Windham Mountain Resort and Belleayre Mountain!
Standard amenities include a coffee brewer, mini-refrigerator, cable TV, and free WiFi. Continental breakfast is served on weekends. Lunch and dinner menus at Santa Fe Woodstock, our on-premise restaurant and bar, entice with traditional and modern Mexican cuisine, made from scratch using the freshest ingredients.

Nice place, great decor, CLEAN - very clean, great owners/customer service! So glad we stayed at this lil gem in Woodstock! About 5 miles from the Ramble!
I stayed at Hotel Dylan as a getaway from city life this past weekend and couldn't have chose a more perfect place. I had read about it in Vogue's Guide to Woodstock (by go-to for fashion so why not for travel) and they happened to be really really right. From the top design from the famous HGTV TV show design team to the location close to town and across the street from the gym to the manager Karen who is delightful it was the best place around. The room had a record player with records from the Woodstock times, board games, a fridge and a ginormous king west elm gorgeous bed. It was just renovated this past year so everything was brand new and they even had CO Bigelow soaps (great soaps and west elm hippie chic designed rooms) they had me at Peace. #peacelovestay
We had a great time at the Hotel Dylan. The room was spacious and nicely furnished - and all the little amenities were great - like the modern bath, super comfy beds and on and on. It was much easier than expected to get around as well to all of the places that we were looking to visit - just a few minutes into Woodstock, and surrounding towns. 100% chance that we will stay here again.
My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Dylan for a night. We stayed during the week so the hotel was very quiet but the staff was very attentive and helpful. The hotel is a quick 10 min drive to the main shopping section of Woodstock and fairly close to Kingston. The rooms were clean and BEAUTIFUL and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in upstate New York.
Absolutely love this hotel!! Was looking for a unique experience outside of Manhattan and wanted something different from the Hamptons on a long weekend. This hotel is more "motel" style with only 10 rooms. The aesthetic of the rooms is so cute, with a peace love and music theme paying homage to Woodstock and the 70s. Karen, the manager, is super friendly and helpful. There are two fire pits on the property and outdoor furniture making it a nice place to chill after dinner. About 10 minute drive to downtown Woodstock. Will definitely stay here again!!
If I could give this place an extra star, I certainly would. Wow....they've thought of everything....including sound cancelling "white noise" machines, great flatscreen premium cable TVs, free WiFi, complete C.O. Bigelow amenities, outdoor firepits, well decorated, and CLEAN! The hotel manager is wonderful and the beds were crazy comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are huge! AND you can use the gym across the street gratis. We brought our own records and played them on the Crosley turntable (one in each room!). We will definitely be back and would recommend staying here without hesitation.
We can't say enough!!! Karen went out of her way for us...she made special accommodations related to our special circumstances, we were so impressed with her graciousness. We checked in early (assistant manager, Elijah, was friendly and professional) to a fun and beautifully appointed room in what has to be the best reno of a hotel ever. Great sleep, post my husband's LATE concert appearance in Woodstock. Will return, for sure.
